<p style="text-align: left;">on our menu: black carrots, red onions, green beans, honey, red tomatoes, sheep&#8217;s yoghurt, milk, butter, summer fruits, parsnip, shallots, and much more&#8230; all growing in the northern part of holland and amongst other ingredients prepared with tap water from amsterdam.<span style="color: #008080;"><span id="more-3822"></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">due to it&#8217;s success we prolonged our inspirational concept &#8216;water&#8217;  for another month. this time we approach water in terms of scarcity and abundance. a water problem well-known in amsterdam and the northern part of holland as well.</p>

<p>Already for the 3rd time <em>de culinaire werkplaats</em> has been one of the participants of DownTown Amsterdam International Fashion Week. We have welcomed a great number of special guests for the eat&#8217;inspiration &#8216;w<em>ear of where to eat &#8230;.</em>&#8216; which is inspired by our motto<em> food equals fashion</em> and is a tribute to the <em>little black dress</em>.</p>
<h3><strong>lichting 2010</strong></h3>
<p>We have a special relation with fashion and the fashion industry. So with great pleasure we received a very special group of young people for brunch on July 15, 2010,  <em>Lichting 2010</em>. Each year at <em>Lichting </em>(Class of&#8230;), the cream of the new crop of Dutch fashion designers introduce themselves to their new field. The country’s 14 most promising graduates show their collections together on the catwalk.<br />
Unfortunately the weather was less promising than these group of fashion talents, instead of a picknick alfresco they had to enjoy their brunch inside.</p>
<h3><strong>winner &#8216;G-Star Talent Award 2010&#8242;</strong></h3>
<p>We followed with great interest the award ceremony of <em>Lichting 2010 and congratulate the winner of the </em>G-Star Talent Award: Marije de Haan.</p>
<p>Marije de Haan graduated at The Royal Academy of Art of The Hague. She was awarded for her collection Flatliners inspired by crimescene photography from the beginning of the 20th century.  All nominated graduates are showcased on <a class="marked" href="http://www.lichting10.nl" target="_blank"><span>www.lichting10.nl</span></a>.</p>

<p>The headline reads: &#8220;from fully principled and stodgy, vegetarianism has become an ecofabulous lifestyle nowadays. With matching haute restaurants, trendy websites and cookbooks. The new vegetarian is no longer worrying anti-meat, but happy pre-green!</p>
