from april 20, 2012 we will be inspired by a new inspirational source: garden landscapes & architecture, the 2nd eat’inspiration of the 3-part series landscapes & architecture. we selected 5 garden designs: a shadow garden, a rock garden, aroof garden, a japanese garden and a natural garden. and we translated the most eyecatching details of these gardens into foodscapes on a plate.

2 mrt – 14 april 2012: dutch landscapes
in march we start with the eat’inspiration dutch landscapes II. on the menu: an eat.cocktail moorland of drente, thereafter you’ll meet the delicate taste of dutch grasslands and the hills of limburg, followed by some urban area and the finishing touch is a culinary representation of dutch polder landscape.
from march-june 2012 we have a series of eat’inspirations on the agenda, in which landscapes and architecture are the inspirational concept, as we enjoyed this theme so much last year. meer…
03-25 feb 2012: simply red.
february, valentine and warm sweater day and immediately red. crossed our minds.
blood red, cherry red, tomato red, burgundy red, brick red, ox red …… the associations of the colour red range from love and fertility, warmth and happiness, to power, violence, danger and anything what is forbidden. in short, red is a colour with many different meanings and emotions. in other words: who is afraid of red?

waarom verkopen wij BEEING honing?
- during the february eat’inspiration simply red. we translate the various meanings of red to 5 dishes. one of these dishes is alert and represents signal red. with this dish we draw the attention to the extreme bee mortality due to a multiplicity of factors.
- this has implications for our dinnerplates. without pollination by bees there would be less vegetables, fruits, nuts, cacao, etc. dit heeft
- of course there is honey used in this dish, as alert is a tribute to the great work done by honeybees.
dec 2011: images of eat’inspiratie surprise, surprise

fancy surprises and presents? ever tasted pieces of new year’s resolutions or had a portion of dreaming of a white xmas. in our december 2011 eat’inspiration surprise, surprise! you had your chance, as we presented 5 dutch festive december classics, but with a huge twist.
on the menu:
- coupe new year’s resolutions: a savourish ‘oliebol’, foamy champagne and marinated pears;
- dreaming of a white xmas?: 3 stews of root parsley, jerusalem artichoke and brussels sprouts; some mushrooms and crisps of jerusalem artichoke;
- pièce de résistance: dried tomatoes-almond pie accompanied by green peas and black potato;
- presents: wonton dough with a filling of fiques and 5 december spices, on sweetened black venere rice and a coulie of tangerine;
- punch revisited: frozen fruits marinated in white wine and mint on foamy red port.
26 sept 2011: opening nationale kookstudioweek
the theme of de nationale kookstudioweek 2011 is vegetables and fruits.
de culinaire werkplaats welcomes the choice of this theme. during this event you can take workshop minis in which vegetables and fruits are leading at a great number of cooking schools.
although the nationale kookstudioweek starts at september 24, the opening will be on monday 26 september at de culinaire werkplaats. this ceremony is for invitees only.
