de culinaire werkplaats is invited to present black & edible paper eat’inspirations at the food plaza of the 8th food valley conference, which will be held on october 7, 2010 at cinemec, ede. we will present ‘dutch, the next generation’, an installation + tasting.

dutch, the next generation

especially for this conference de culinaire werkplaats presents the installation & tasting dutch, the next generation, which addresses the plate of + for the future. according to the designer’s couple of de culinaire werkplaats, marjolein wintjes and eric meursing, the main characters of this plate are vegetables, fruits and specialty grains. they combine this perspective with the foodtrend of this very moment: eat local produce.

the installation is an exhibition of handmade paper of vegetables, fruit and herbs. furthermore showcasing black vegetables and fruits. all the used fruits, vegetables and grain are from holland. as finishing touch they show a short movie about cooking sounds represented by their inspirational concept black.

there will be a tasting of ‘green’ pastry with edible paper, and small bites in which the inspirational black is leading.

the conference

the international conference for foodprofessionals is this year dedicated to new business models of today and tomorrow: money: revealing business models in food.

jonas ridderstråle, one of the worlds most prominent management gurus and speakers, will give a keynote presentation to the food valley conference, as will cees ‘t hart, ceo of frieslandcampina. the winner of the food valley award 2010 will also be announced during the Food Valley Conference.

there are presentations, workshops and an inspirational food plaza > 40 food related companies.
