on food professional day, october 11, de culinaire werkplaats will present the plate of + for the future, an installation + tasting. food professional day is a new element of the food4you festival.

the plate of + for the future: installation & tasting

the designer’s couple, marjolein wintjes and eric meursing, of de culinaire werkplaats want to inspire people to shake up their culinary lifestyes. this can be done in very many ways. de culinaire werkplaats, a design studio and restaurant for new foods and eating concepts, offers an approach at the cross section of food & art.

de culinaire werkplaats is specialized in creating contemporary foods for the plate of and for the future on which fruits, vegetables and specialty grains are very prominent. with this project marjolein and eric offer the participant a fresh perspective on vegetables, fruits and grains.

food professional day

de food professional day offers inspiration and  sharing of knowledge. the programme connects scientist, and chefs from the catering, food services and industry.  there will be plenary and parallel sessions. the chairman of the day is kees de gooijer (ceo food & nutrition delta)

special attention will be paid for joint development projects concerning food and nutrition.  responsible and healthy are more often combined with tasty and attractive. this is reflected in interactive session as “the actuality of the primal diet” (about the relationship between our primal food and the current eating pattern) and the ‘hospitable care’ (about ‘sick as healthy as possible’). and, the chef of the restaurant of the future, connects local produce and top quality with mass production.
