26 sept 2011: opening nationale kookstudioweek

the theme of de nationale kookstudioweek 2011 is vegetables and fruits.

de culinaire werkplaats welcomes the choice of this theme. during this event you can take workshop minis in which vegetables and fruits are leading at a great number of cooking schools.

although the nationale kookstudioweek starts at september 24, the opening will be on monday 26 september at de culinaire werkplaats.  this ceremony is for invitees only.

on the program:

  • groentenfruit bureau will present dutch specials, a quality label of collaborating dutch fruit and vegetable growers
  • a culinary inspirational session by angelique schmeinck, masterchef and author of ‘smaakvrienden’
  • world cancer fonds will examine the relation between vegetables, fruits and health.

de culinaire werkplaats, awarded  the best benelux vegetable restaurant 2011, have created 5 novel vegetable & fruit surprises with the dutch originals, especially for this occassion

  • water works revisited;
  • comfort zone;
  • cold caprese;
  • emotion;
  • royal apples.

de culinaire werkplaats is a design studio and restaurant for contemporary eating concepts, but offers on september 24 and october 1 the opportunity to do a workshop mini ‘how to chop your veggies as a professional’.

de nationale kookstudio week 2011 is a  initiative of  stichting european cookery school association (eca) and the following partners: dutch specials, giftfor2, wine events, kookstudioJaarkaart, groentenfruit bureau, voedingscentrum, delicious. and winelife.
