31 okt – 4 nov 2011: fairtrade@work

for the 2nd time  de culinaire werkplaats is one of the participants of  fairtrade@work week (oct 31- nov 4, 2011) . we will organize a special activity to promote the use of fairtrade products at work (company restaurants/canteens).

our activity:

  • a round table fairtrade lunch spoons full of honesty. we offer about 10 people with various backgrounds (food, art, blogging, communication, etc.) to join us for a fair trade lunch and will discuss with them the company lunchplate of the future. as not everybody has the opportunity to have lunch or breakfast in a company restaurant/canteen. we would like to know all about their business luncheons, where they lunch, which choices they make and why, etc. our round table chairman will be linda vermaat (VOER);
  • where we lunch on location to have more impact. we lunch and debate at the huge dinnertable which can be found in the centre of sukha, a lifestyle shop with a warm heart, in amsterdam;
  • for the shoppers we have fairtrade noshes + nibbles to inform them about fairtrade@work;
  • the round table fairtrade lunch results will be reported in word + image.
