march 2 – july 7, 2012: landscapes & architecture

fancy a fresh portion inspiration? in that case book an eat’inspiration at de culinaire werkplaats in the period of march 2nd – july 7th, 2012 for one of our eating specials. in this period we feature a 3 part series of eat’inspirations inspired by landscapes & architectures. we kick off with dutch landscapes. thereafter we’ll make a journey in 5 dishes through garden architecture, and last but not least you can eat some urban landscapes & architecture. during this period marjolein will create work for an exhibition on table landscapes and a report on the relation food & architecture.

we always search for new views on the dinnerplate of the future. our creative perspective is guided by inspirational concepts. in this way we explore new combinations, tastes, textures, sometimes even new ways of eating at the intersection of food and art.

in 2011 we presented 6 eating specials inspired by landscapes and architecture, and this turned out to be very moreish. the theme landscapes and architecture is such an immense source of inspiration, that it leads -almost by itself, naturally- to all kinds of extraordinary eat’inspirations. so … now it’s time again to showcase some new, extraordinary dishes which are a reflection of landscapes & architecture.

an eat’inspiration or eat’in special.

  • always consists of 5 dishes/courses: an eat’cocktail, followed by 2 times savourish and 2x sweetish. the eatinspiration is preceded by a sneak preview.

  • besides taste and inspirational concept at least 2 of the following criteria also provide for our choice of ingredients, products, and suppliers:  animal welfare, small-scale or organic farming, fair trade, direct trade, season, distance, and personal health.
